According to the KSCSTE Refund Policies, there will be NO refund for the application fees submitted by the applicants.
Registration for the 38th Kerala Science Congress is strictly online.
• A valid Email ID and Mobile Number are essential for communication and approval of the registration.
• A digital copy of a recent stamp-size photograph (150 pixels width × 200 pixels height, maximum size 50 KB) must be uploaded during registration.
The registration process is completed in two phases:
Phase 1:Upload your personal details and photograph, and complete mobile number verification to register for the 38th KSC.
Phase 2:Pay the registration fee and upload your Abstract and Extended Abstract.
• Delegates who have registered during previous Kerala Science Congress events can log in using their existing user ID and password to edit their profile, make payments, and upload papers for the 38th KSC.Note: The category under which the contribution is made must be indicated at the time of online registration, and no changes will be allowed later.
The registration for the 38th Kerala Science Congress includes three main categories:
1. Student Category
📌 Who is a Bonafide Student Delegate? A student delegate is someone who is:You’ll need to upload a nomination form signed by your Head of Department (HOD) or Head of Institution as proof of your student status.

📌 Who can apply under the Scientist Category?This category is for individuals who are:
3. Project Staff Category
📌 Who falls under the Project Staff category?Possibly registered for a Master’s or Ph.D. program but primarily employed as project staff.
The delegate those are applied for presentations they have to submit Abstract and Extended Abstract while online registration
“Extended abstract” without name & affiliation of authors and an “Abstract” (half page) with name & affiliation of authors should be submitted online via Kerala Science congress website.
Only the first author of the paper is allowed to upload the paper for presentation. Co-authors need not upload the paper; they can register through the provision “Participation Only”.
The extended abstract should conform to the guidelines given below:
•Extended abstracts should not exceed 2000 words. It should be in PDF format, font size 12 Times New Roman with 1.5 line spacing
•Title of the Paper should be in UPPER CASE, font size 12, bold with center alignment
•The extended abstract should contain a brief Introduction, Materials & Methods, Results & Discussion and References.
•All symbols and abbreviations should be properly defined; superscripts, subscripts and scientific characters should be clearly indicated. SI units alone be used.
•The extended abstract not conforming to the stipulated format are liable to be rejected.
Candidates can opt their presentation as Oral or Poster and also the subject classification for their presentation. However, their choice for presentations and the subject area will remain provisional. Abstract with name & affiliation of authors should be organized in half page as given below
•Title of the Paper (centre alignment, UPPER CASE, font size 12, bold)
•Name(s) and Address (es) of the Author(s) (centre alignment, title case, font size 12, names alone bold).
•The abstract should be with a brief Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusion and with Keywords (Refer Model Abstract provided).
•It should be in Microsoft Word with Times New Roman, font size 12 with 1 line spacing.
